Other than Griots vs Flex its a very similar order to the one I am waiting on.
Have fun!

Aw man, that's detail porn. You're going to love the Flex.....it's so smooth. It's much heavier than the Griots, but it's so well balanced and buttery smooth. Paired with the Surbuf pads, you'll be able to cut through most any correction work.

Again, nice order!

Got my order in. Seemed to have been upgraded to the larger 32oz size of FG400, pleased with that!

The Uber super drying towel is one plush towel! Same can be said about the Uber "No Name" micro fiber towles as well.

Just need to clear out the garage and set time aside. That can be hard to do though this time of year when the trout are rising and all I want to do is fly fish!

Nice order. Tundra will be there after the trout. Catch them while they are hitting.

Damn, just had to send off an e-mail back to DD. They did not send me the 6 pack of Ultra microfiber towels in my Griots kit.

Hope they sort it out.

Thanks Jumbo Jet for sharing your knowledge. I followed your advice and I'm blown away with the results. It was a lot of work but we'll worth it. My paint looks as good as it feels. Totally Awesome. I did my wife's car also and I'm back in her graces after spending the money. You the man thanks again.

Very impressed! Was concerned about he price but a little does go a long way.

Did not apply to tires yet so will see how much it takes to do them. Speaking of tires, I am down dirt roads all the time. How bad does the dust/dirt stick to tires after treatment/application? Other dressing seem to really attract the dust/dirt.

And what about longevity? On things like mirrors, side steps, bumper etc as well as tires?

You're very welcome. I'm really glad you've got your truck and car looking so good. It is a lot of work, but it's so worth all of the effort.

VRT is great. Longevity on mirrors and trim should be about a month or two. What's great about it is that it will bead water very well.

Just about all tire treatments will attract dust if driving down dirt roads. If you find one that doesn't.....let me know.

Well guess I will rarely have clean tires then. I just hope they come clean with out much effort then.

Pardon my ignorance here guys. I'm new to the detailing world. I recently bought my truck and it look like the previous owner had taken it through trees or bushes. There are a lot of clear coat scratches on it. Most of the scratches I can't feel any indent with my fingernail when running over them.

I realize there are a lot of suggestions about the Griots or Porter Cable DA and I would love to get one of those kits. But my issue is my budget. For now, I can't drop the dough on them (saving for a wedding). Is there a cheaper, yet effective, alternative to getting rid of them?

Sealant of choice this is the one I use meguiars m21 and is a good price and works.

Look around at prices but the links above are pretty good. All in you will spend around 190 and get everything you need to correct the paint many times.

I did a search but found no answer and pretty simple ? here. Is there a tire shine spray that you can just spray on and done that will not leave film on the wheels. Pain in the neck wiping the wheels off after spraying certain shines. I dont mind wiping a good tire shine on if you got one you recommend.
