Powered up!

Tired of not having outlets in the bed, and really need a solid energy source for my Dometic fridge/freezer now that fishing and camping season is almost here.

I have a dual battery setup with big fat Odyssey batteries, with a voltage sensing isolator system. I put a 40A breaker at the auxiliary battery, and routed a 10ga wire to the back of the truck. Behind the new outlets is a fused distribution block to separate the three circuits. The lower two outlets are 12V heavy duty locking type sockets. One will power the fridge and the other can be used to charge my jump start box that we use for portable 12V power. These are both hot all the time. The volt meter and the dual 2.1A USB outlet are powered up with the switch, as they are parasitic draws that do not need to be on constantly.

Iím very happy with the outcome and ready to put it to use! Enjoy...
