bushings for front stabilizer bar

What is the symptom for the need to change the front stabilizer bar bushings?

Does is make noises? Is there a vibration? Other?

At what mileage would this be suspect of changing as a wear item? 50k 75k 100k... more?

Is it something that can be pulled off, greased and reinstalled? Do you replace them?

If you have changed them, do you use rubber or polyethylene?

Has anyone tried upgrading with "zerk" fitting to enable greasing them?
