There is no cutting or welding required... We make specific kits for the Crew-max/ Dbl Cab as well as the RCSB and DBL Cab Long bed. NO CUTTING! A very simple installation you can handle with basic tools.

Zoomers is a top notch company. My wife used to work with the owner before we moved to Arizona. We had their exhaust on our FJ, and our Eclipse. Not on the Tundra yet. Top of the line product.

Hell72 it is a toss up between the two. I was at the Tundra meet on saturday and I heard both the Zoomers and Proforce exhausts. Both are great products inside and out. Prices are pretty close as well. I am prolly going with the Zoomers though since I have a 2001 and the Proforce is not available for mine yet.

Aperformance how much is the 01 Tundra 4.7 Zoomers exhaust at the shop. How does the shipping work? Shipped to your shop or my place? Is it a simple bolt-on product? If it is shipped to the shop do you install it as well?

Hey Karl, Ron at Zoomers say hi to Tina for me... When you're ready for Zoomers on that Tundra let me know we'll hook you up. Frank says "hey what's up"...

01 Tundra 4.7 cat-back is $499.00 plus $60.00 dollars for installation here at our shop in Irvine. We can ship it direct to you and yes it's a simple bolt-on you can do yourself. But for $60.00 bucks you can't beat the price it'll cost half that just to ship it accross town... Give me a call we can do it for you right away... Ron 866-4Zoomers ext.12

Hey is the system dyno proven because I was at the site but it only showed the chart for the 07-08 Tundra. Nothing for the previous 4.7 motor. I am not saying it will not have more power I would just like to know what the gains are (peace of mind). Do you guys have a dyno at your shop? Also you guys have my system in stock or you have to order it?

We have not dyno tested the 1st generation Tundra's... We don't have a dyno at our shop but there is a shop we use a few doors down from us for dyno testing. We do have your system in stock so give me call to place your order. Thanks, Ron 866-4Zoomers

Ordered my kit today. Ron was very patient and I could tell that he was very passionate about his product. I sure hope that it performs as well as touted. I will let others know about my kit as soon as I get it installed.

Ok. I have had the kit installed by myself and a neighbor in only 30 - 40 minutes. The kit installed very easy once stock system removed. Only had an issue with loosening the bolts from the cats (tough little suckers...thanks WD40!). We both commented on the quality of material and workmanship...very nice. The finished product is deep and quiet at idle and no drone at cruising speed (usually 75-80 MPH). When you want to intimidate and leave others behind, there was an awesome growl, excellent throttle response, and sweet power from the butt-dyno.

Ok, some interesting info...I have the Volant CAI and the Zoomers exhaust and after 600 - 800 highway miles and misc day-to-day driving, I set out on another 600 miles of highway driving and have noticed an increase in gas milage (stock highway was 15.6 MPG and now 18.7 on 87 octane fuel)...not bad increase for these beautiful hills of WV. I have towed a car home shortly after purchase and again on the return trip...stock 10MPG and now 12MPG.

Overall, I am happy with this purchase and expect the kit to last the lifetime of the truck. I told Ron that I would definately put this warranty to the test as I had my last car for 240,000+ miles. Customer service was excellent but I hope to never need to contact him again...that is unless I want a zoomers exhaust for another vehicle!
