What tire size do we need

We have a 2010 Toyota Tundra Crew Max with 3 in suspension lift sitting on stock 20in rims.
We are buying tires soon and wheels later so i need a tire that will fit on the stock 20 in and on wheels at a later date.
Bf wants Toyo Open Country AT2's
Will a 305 50 20 fit on the stock and a not look horrible when we do go with aftermarket wheels? What about 305 55 20?

I do not know much about tires, so if any of that sounded wrong, sorry!

Thanks so much!

I have a 3/1 level kit and 20's on my 2012 crew max. The 305 55's wanted to rub the inside of my drivers side mud flap when turned sharp left, when they were new. That being said could I go up a size wider and not cause to much more trouble? Not trying to take ur thread, we just have similar set ups

I could be mistaken but won't 305's be the largest you can go with just 3 inch lift on the front?

Thanks for the replays! We decided to go with 305/55! But
Decided we are going to wait and order tires and wheels all
At the same time! So hopefully within a few weeks! Thanks so much!

Gotta be careful with the 20X8 factory wheels with the +60 offset. Some 305.55.20 will clear the uca's, but others wont.
