Thank the Republicans for the HIGH GAS PRICES GUYS. They are backed by the big companies making the profits right now. Even though the barrels are alot they still make billions. The exon company passed Walmart as the #1 profit company in history last year because the price of gas. Thank Haliberton and everyone that voted Busch. His whole family is in the oil business.

I'm Independent so I am very unhappy.

If your rep then you should be happy and not complain. Just my 2cents.

We're dining-out less, and no drinks/desert. Good for the budget and the waistline...Gas wasn't cheap when I bought the truck, but I'm glad I went with the RCSB. I'd be kicking myself if I'd gotten the 3/4T diesel crewcab. I hate boring drives more than buying gas and that's why we try to avoid unnecessary trips to town. I just got my motorcycle endorsement; looking at dual-sports. 80mpg sounds nice, huh?

Man you must get all your info from MSNBC....that is the most un-educated thing I have ever heard. The current president isn't the brightest but good god.....don't believe everything you see on TV. Who gives a Sh*t how much profit the oil companies make?? That is the foundation of our country...CAPITALISM. Anyone who wants to tax companies for making to much money is retarded.

Red face

Gas is 3.85 a gallon here in Albuquerque. Work is a 14 mile round trip that I do 5-6 days a week. I try to fill her up every other week and ride my street bike a few times a week to work. Having the bike helps with the pain at the pump. But I'm lucky if I get 40mpg's on the bike.

I don't enjoy paying out the ass for gas.....but I can't complain too much (Does that make me a Rep? You bet!) I'm lucky enough that I don't use the truck for a daily driver, got the Corolla XRS for that. Wife drives a Honda. I boat with friends and we have started "boat pooling" this year. Usually we would chase and follow one another all over Cumberland or Norris when on vacation. Fk'n boats.....talk about a waste of fossil fuels. This year we all jump on the Mastercraft boat to go wake or knee boarding. We all jump on my Yamaha boat when driving to a far away spot on the lake, it's faster and more fuel efficient. Plus I towed down to Norris this year doing about 65~70. Only stopped once for gas around Lexington, Ky and got there (Norris) with a little over a quarter tank left. I think alot of people will change some habits to conserve, but life don't stop. I'm not ready yet to sell all my shit and live in a tent and drive a bike.

I use my Tundra when I go fishing or towing my trailer to a camp site otherwise it sits in the garage. Although, I think it's cheaper to drive the Tundra than my 540i, plus I don't have to use premium in the Tundra.

Lol the mod got a little angry. Hey buddy, I just mad a statement. I mean unless you found some flaws or I stated something that was incorrect, please correct me "if I am wrong." I was just expressing my opinion like anyone else would do. I mean unless you are part of the current office or are rep. you really should not get angry with the gibberish I said. I mean who cares what I say right? Oh wait your a mod, like the FCC lol.

Well I guess this is a perfect time for me to post...

Proud new Tundra owner here... And I traded a 2003 Dodge RAM 1500
5.7L HEMI 4x4 for a 2008 Toyota Tundra 5.7L, so I don't know what that
says about me.. The Toyota does get better MPG than my Dodge did.

This is day 4 for me with the Tundra.
