I will have to agree looks first. The preformance is already there. I put 20% tint, 2" leveling is next then some rear off road lights and a carbon fiber dash kit.

I had to go with looks. Needed a cab to lock up my fishing goodies! Now I am working on some performance treats for that 5.7

I got a new exhaust not long ago and I regret not doing it as soon as I bought the truck. It was a great upgrade.

I suppose there could be an option for "practical" but since there isn't, I put performance. My first mod will likely be installing a CB for talking to others when we go camping and four wheeling.
Tube steps or nerf steps will be next, but again, those are practical, because my wife is 5'2", and my 11 year old daughter is even shorter. Bilstein 5100s are on the agenda, so that would also change the looks, but they also will help the approach angle a little, so practical again. At some point I want to add an N-fab pre-runner bar (or maybe just a light bar, depending on my budget) and lights. Looks again, but practical when we get to our campsite late at night. I suppose at some point I will look into a CAI and aftermarket exhaust. The way I look at it, if I look toward making it function the way I want, form (looks) will follow.

I personally believe it depends on the reason for the lift. If you are doing it to assist angles of approach, departure, and breakover, or to get it up out of the mud a little and to add tires for off-roading, then it is performance. Otherwise, it is looks.
