seen the thread about would you buy one again or not, so I thought we could make a poll out of it and see where it goes.

I have owned Chevrolets for many years and finally decided to give another brand a try. I was a really hard decision to look at other trucks, until I drove the new Tundra and looked at the overall quality of the truck. I really like the new Tundra. Although I have only owned it for a few months, I think its a great truck.

Toyota's are popular in Hawaii. I started with a 2000 tacoma xtra cab, upgraded to a 4door long bed 4x4 in 05, then i couldn't resist the new tundra in 07. it's the best truck i've ever had. Lot's of power and roomy...

I voted yes for sure. My dad said that if a truck would work for him he would get one just like mine. Works in Austin, flies home on the weekends, and lives in a 1 bedroom condo and parking is tight. He had a Ridgeline for a little while and got rid of it quicky because he couldnt park it in the garage and now has a M35.
I picture myself getting whatever the new model of the Tundra is when my lease is up in 3 years on this truck.

Honestly, I don't know. The old Tundra seems to be much better built. If this were 2000, I'd say yes. For now, I'm undecided. I'd probably get a Super Duty next to be quite honest. If I found a low mileage 2002 Ford Super Duty with the 7.3 I'd most likely trade.
Now that Toyota is building cars in bulk like GM and Ford their quality seems to be slipping and I think they feel they can "get away with it" because their name is so powerful. Just my opinion. -rockstate |

I agree

I've owned several Toyotas, but this one doesn't seem up to their normal standards. Not a bad truck, but I wouldn't say it is better (or worse for that matter) than the Ford I traded in. |
