Black?!?!!!

Black looks great, alright, until the dust begins to settle.

I had ONE black car . . . never again! You spend most of your time trying to keep it black plus, with the intense desert sun, the clear coat will probably begin peeling in a couple of years.

White is practical but as boring as vanilla ice cream. Red . . . well, get a light bar and then you can make some extra bucks as a firefighter (which I am).

Blue? C'mon! No real truck would be seen dead in blue. Blue is for Smurfs, Civics, and Kias! And any truck in green does nothing for me. Unless you happen to work for the Forest Service.

The 'mica' series has been done to death. I like the metallic slate which has a subtle dark bluish overtone in sunlight.

Well, okay, a little blue is not bad.

Hey my current truck is blue!! Bright Blue!, In fact my son calls it big blue!
It was a new color for 2003.. Thats why I went with it, and with some tinted windows.. It looks pretty sharp.. Even at 4 years old.

I like the metallic slate, but my fiance is going to buy a 4 runner that color, and I have a mazda6 that color.. so can't have three vehicles that color..

What look would you guys rather have, double cab or crewcab?I for one like the look of the double cab best with the sports appearance package, but i also love the inside of the crewmax.

I wish it did because I would rather ride around in the field with it than my HUMVEE.

I have a White SR5 D-Cab with the Sport Appearance Package and the 5.7. I have already removed all badges and am planning on larger wheels, a slight lowering kit, new grill, dual exhaust and some kind of an intake. The only bad thing is that there are very few aftermarket parts out there and the ones that are there are real high rilght now. I will have a bed cover and some entertainment (tv and stereo) shortly.
