So, I,m looking to buy a bull bar for my 2012 black tundra. But, i cant decide what style to get... it has the standard chrome grill, logo, and bumper...
Finally got a picture... I just had a 2" leveling kit installed. I've also plati-dipped the front emblem...
Post a pic of your truck, will help us decide. Without seeing your truck, my opinion would be black bar with chrome skid plate, or all black. I hate chrome on trucks, chrome belongs on harley davidsons

Here are a couple of pics from my EBAY Bull Bar install. I really like the powder coated black bull bar personally. Then again I did a chrome delete on my entire truck.
Good luck. Hope you find what you want.
If you are going to keep the chrome grille surround, I say get chrome bull bar. If you are going to paint the chrome surround black, then black bull bar would look nice. If you just want to paint the bumper black, then you could paint the skid plate black.

As per my user pic, I have a Westin Bullbar. It originally came with black painted bars, and a non-painted skid plate. I got the whole thing including the skid plate LineXed, and painted the skid plate red before the LineX product cooled down, and while it was still tacky. So far it's held up fine on the road and after washings.

I wasn't aware that the line x products cooled down. I guess I don't pay much attention to the 'trend' and get what I like.

Had a few things LineXed and after the process, it's warm to the touch. Don't know all the facts of the process or why it's like that. Never bothered to ask why.
