Thats an upgrade! Have you owned this truck for almost 10 years?
Sure did, I bought it fall of 97. It only had 85,000 miles on it when I traded it in. I started to look at new trucks last year but when I heard about the new Tundras I decided to wait.
Traded my 06 Dodge Ram 1 ton pick up for the Tundra 5.7L. Diesel price is getting out of hand. The ram sat most of the time always because of diesel price is too high.

Usually trading a vehicle in is a great deal for the dealer and a great loss for the person doing the trading. When I bought my 01 Tundra the dealer offered me 4000 for my wifes caddy sts. I sold it at a garage sale for 7000 with a retail book value of 8000. I have an 01 Tundra 4x4 Limited with every factory option and plan to sell it out right when I buy a new Tundra. To appease chevyman, I will consider a new Silverado but I have owned 10 Honda's and 2 Toyota's in the last 31 years and have been very happy with them, especially the resale value. I think I should be able to get 50% of what I payed for my 01 as it only has 45000 miles and is in great shape. Can you do that on a Chevy or a Ford. No problems on the Tundra whatsoever except for 02 sensors replaced under Toyo's extended warranty on them.
I sold this 96 Ram 1500 for 2000 over KBB private party value, mostly because the buyer knows what kind of work has gone into the truck, and how well I've taken care of it. I was just ready for a new truck, and had been waiting for this Tundra to come out...
I ended up w/ a 4x2 Super White 5.7 TRD Double Cab, and I couldn't be happier! I love my new TUNDRA!
Traded in my 97 Tacoma extended cab V6 4WD, 125K miles....loved that truck. It was like saying goodbye to old friend....always dependable, no problems at all.
I sold a 2000 4Runner SR5 sport package with a TRD supercharger. It was a damn good pulling SUV, never broke, and could run rings around the Dodge RamCharger (360 V-8) that it replaced. The boat I got last year was too much for the 4Runner and was right at the 5K towing limit. With this Tundra, I have plenty of safety margin. And this 07 Tundra was actually 2K less than the 4Runner!
