I'd never call my truck a Tundy. Sounds absurd. LOL

Welcome CAdams. I said the same thing about upgrades too and just dropped 2 grand my 2nd week of owning this beast. The darn boards did it to me lol

I was in the market for a full size truck, had a toyota tacoma loved in, no problems ran swell for 110,000 all i had to do was replace the leaf springs in the back, and oil changes every 5-7000 (commuting back and forth to school) I remember that ole red truck me and my buddies had a hard time trying to break it....never did break the damn thing. Traded it in on a tundra...got 11k for the trade i was surprised so i snatched up a new Sr5 gonna baby this one for a lil while....haha

I was going to trade in my Durango... until the stealership said they'd give me a grand trade in. PFFFT! 100k miles on a '98. I sold it outta my front yard for 3x that. FFS, what a joke that was. I had more than what they were going to give me in the stereo equipment.

I traded in my 03 Tundra Step side Limited that had 46,000 on it. Dealer gave me 10,000 for it. Truck was in great shape other than the body. (wife hit everything but the lottery in it). Needed new rear bumper and had quite a few door dings in it. Was a good truck though and it was paid for, however I couldn't resist the incentives to buy so I traded it for a 08 Crewmaxx Sr5. Love the ride compared to my 03 and you cant even compare the power difference. Only thing that was better in my 03 limited was the stereo. the stock job in my 08 is horrible. Hope to change it out soon!

Looking to trade my 06 Ridgeline. Dealer is low balling though. Need to able to tow more now so Tundra seems like the way to go.

Dealers are definitely low balling on trade ins.

Especially it you are trading a truck or suv.

'99 Tacoma 4x4, had since new and never had any trouble with it. That truck still had the original exhaust and battery, all I did was change oil and filters. I hated giving it up but Toyota decided to buy it back because of a frame corrosion issue. They bought my Tacoma back for 1 1/2 times Kelly blue book retail price in excellet condition. Along with the big $5000.00 rebate incentives I could not pass up the Tundra. This is one heck of a truck!
