Go to your local discount tire for their adaptors, if you really want to keep your tire pressure sensors. Depending on what wheels came with your Tundra, you have either 20 degree or 40 degree sensors. My truck came with the styled steel wheels, and they have different sensors than all the other stock wheels. As for where to get the tires....I chose to go through 4WheelParts and just pick them up here locally so I didn't have to pay for shipping. I would check with Discount Tire and see if they can hook you up...and they are a vendor for TT.

Note: The manufacturer of this tire did supply the "measured rim" size in their specs. The measured rim size was 8.5" for this tire. The actual specs when installed on these stock 18" wheels (8" wide) would be 33.1" OD x 11.6" wide.
I picked up these tires today and had them mounted on my stock 18" TRD wheels. They look awesome! The do rub just a LITTLE at full lock. I took my chanel-locks and bent the forward most edge of the skid plate up (about 1" worth of skid plate on the corner) and all is good now.

Compared to my stock TRD BFG tires they are a little more firm in ride and a little louder but not bad at all. Much better ride and quieter than a BFG mud terrain. I would say they are about equal to a BFG AT in the ride and sound department.

Yes they will, if you don't go too wide. That's a pretty broad question that you asked though. How wide are your tires? How wide are the wheels?

Just remember that 34.5 - 35" in OD is your limit with a 3/1 lift. The bigger the wheel you get....the less tire between the road and your wheel you are going to have. I went the opposite route....by getting a smaller wheel and more tire between the road and wheel. I have 34.1" OD and no issues to speak of.

Your talking to a guy who's coming from having 24's and 26's on 35 series tires. Don't know much about 35's tires which is the look i want now. i just feel 20's on 35's look bit small to me. My truck will prob never see offroading. I'm planning on getting color matched fender flairs 3/1 lift i want my tires to stick out a bit not sure what size i need.

Red face 4wd/2wd

First off, the information in this thread is PRICELESS. If people keep contributing (and maybe provide example pics) this will be one comprehensive piece of work. AWESOME job, TCTundra. I have a question about this, though. I'm considering leveling the front end of my 2wd and putting on some A/Ts to make my truck a little more functional. Nothing fancy. Do both the 2wd and 4wd come with the same lift height from factory? Can I still use the numbers and info in this thread to apply to my 2wd? Anything anyone can tell me would be greatly appreciated by this noob.

Tundra Saurus - After making a tactical error, I ended up with 22x10 Rockstars with Trail Grappler M/T 295/55R20's. I have a Truxxx 3/1 leveling kit.

From this experience, I learned (or I was biaaa@ch slapped with knowledge - either way):

1) offset of -24 puts out the tire 2", maybe 2 1/2". Bad choice. 20x10 Rockstars only come that way... however 20x9 come with a positive offset. So, now I ordered Pocket Flares to put the wheels under cover (another $426.75 to justify to the old lady).
2) 10" width rims are a great look. They keep the side wall of the new Trail Grapplers really firm and flat, which is really nice. Bad thing - the combination of the negative offset and the wheel width causes rubbing in the rear side of the wheel well on the end of the frame at full lock. That was with a Ready Lift 2.6" front level. Off with that, and go get something bigger.
3) Ready Lift said that the block lift is designed to "fit any 33" tire," but they failed to mention "on an 8 1/2" rim" in their ads. Move to the Truxxx lift, another $367.41 and evil scowl from the old lady.
4) I still have rubbing in front of the wheel well at full lock also. I had to take off the inner fender skirt (not sure of the technical term). However, with these removed, the fog light guts are exposed. With winter and mud coming, well, that just ain't gonna work out good for the home team. I will try to reverse the two covers (switch left to right backwards and vice versa) this weekend. Only to save the fog lights from damage. I will invest in a Fab Four Pre-Runner bumper, another $2400 in the can - wife has informed me of impending "draught."

Picked up a night job to pay for the Fab Four, and I'm a retired veteran.. so I get a discount. Insert smiley face here.

Oh... almost forgot. Once the extra weight from the new bumper and winch get figured out, hmm. I need new shocks. OME coil overs to support the additional weight. I lost track of cost after $400 on those, because I'll also need an additional leaf in the back, or some 1" shocks to deal with the additional weight in the back.

What additional weight in the back from a front bumper? Well, of course you can't put on a front Fab Four winch Pre-Runner and not put a matching back bumper. Drop another $250 for rear shocks and leaf spring AAL and $850 for the bumper (that's with the sympathy discount).

All that from the wrong size wheel / tire combo. It doesn't bother me much, I've found solutions to all the difficult problems. My wife doesn't see it that way, however. Good thing I like the truck more than her.

I think I only have the rub because of my offset for the rim... My tire OD is 32.8", but the offset is -24. It's all about the angle of the dangle at that point. I should have held out for the 20x9's with the positive offset. I think that would have brought the tire in and reduced the rubbing all together.

Oh... How do you like your Volant CAI?? Saw it on your webpage and wanted to see what you thought? Any increase in mph? When I'm sitting at 13, every little bit helps!

OK fellas, I have gone over this whole thread and don’t see my setup yet.
08 Crewmax, stock 20" Limited rims, planning on doing a 2.5 leveling job at the same time.
I like the look of the Toyo 33x12.50x20 but one local shop said that it would rub. He said it is too wide for the stock rim. He wants to sell me a Procomp. I have done the research on the Procomp and saw a lot of people saying that it is a piece of s$!t, that it very hard to balance and throws chucks of tread.
Is anyone running my setup with a good looking/pulling tire?

Also I have found this listing on the Toyo website: LT275/65R20 126P E/10 (34X11.00R20). It says that it fits a narrower rim than the 33x12.50x20. I dont know why the guy at the tire place didnt offer me this. Any info is appreciated.
Thanks

^^I think you need to find a new dealer since he isn't wanting to sell you what you want or advise you into the proper direction. It seems like he is trying to push current inventory (a guess) or push what he makes the most profit on (again, a guess). I distrust almost all tire sale people that push hard in one direction.

Would Toyota offer 2 different 20" rims with different offsets or would all 20s for the Tundra be the same?

I want to go to a 35/12.5/20. Anyone out there running this set up. Any rubbing?
Sorry I dont know the offset, but I believe it is +10
