Road Hazard Warranty?
Im close to buying new tires, and im seeing different prices for this road hazard warranty,
firestone wants 123 for all 4 tires, costco says its includeded in their prices etc... now is it actually worth buying this "warranty" or are there alot of fine print bs? |

If you have the extra money, I say buy it...after just 900 miles, I got a flat and had to replace a tire. Dealer or tire manufacturer wouldn't replace because I didn't have a warranty for the tires?!?! The truck was brand new and didn't come with a warranty for the tires! After some deliberation, $210 out of pocket for a new tire and some bitching from my end...toyota sent me a $210 check to refund money I spent on a new tire. Well, during the process, I took it into sears and they said that if I would have purchased a tire protection plan, they would have replaced it no prob! I say do it. (sorry so lengthy)

I dont either I just chance it, but if you are buying toyos they are a 10 ply tire and have like an inch and a half of tread so odds are a little nail wont go into the tire causing you a flat, By the time it will you have gotten your money out of them.. jsut my opnion

Put it this way. If you try and go back with a blowout you won't get anything back for it. With the warranty they will pro rate the tire to see how much tread you have and give you credit. Or if the tire was still really new they will give you a new tire and just charge you for installation. Some people have to go through this some don't. It's all up to the consumer in purchasing it. My advice to you if you don't get it is don't get a flat on the sidewall.

It depends on the Road Hazard Plan, with the tire we sell they come with a 2year plan but the 2nd is pro rated. We sell an additional plan that covers for 60 months for 15 bucks a tire. It covers the tire no matter what happens, sidewall cut, blowout whatever.
Roadhazard is different than warranty, warranty is for defects in the tire. Don't confuse them |

If I can negotiate into getting the warranty for free then i take it otherwise i risk it. If you go to discount tire, ask for a better price
