Does anyone think 305/55/20's will fit without a leveling kit?

Just wondering. The wheels are a 20x8.5 and do have a +35 offset so i was just thinkin (hopping) that they would work. I hate turning wrenches.

think they are too wide. There are guys that run this size with a leveling kit and get rubbing

oh so the 33" may not be an issue .. but the width may be?

the other solution for this guy is a wheel with a lower offset .. if he goes with something that is has a lower offset, the wheel will stick out more and he could possibly fit it

I get tired of typing what tires fit all the time haha jk. Get a tire that has the same/less backspacing as the stock wheels and you can fit that tire.

Say what? I hope the don't rub with a leveling kit as I am getting ready to pull the trigger on this size.

I've asked this question multiple times just to be sure and everyone says a 305/55/20 is good to go with a 3/1" leveling kit and a slight trim of the skidplate.

Where did you hear that these rub?

I'm running 285/55/20 .
My wheels came on the truck as part of the X-Sp package , they did not rubb until after I got my Toytec lift installed . I had to trim my skid plate about an 1" 1/2 on both sides . Now no rubbing at full turn .

I think that the 285/55's look to small with the level kit. Like your truck, I just want something that makes the truck look slightly tougher.

Of course not at the expense of rubbing and if the 305's rub then I won't get them.

My point was that I had no rubbing issues stock . Only after the lift was installed .
I think you'll be fine getting the 305's , worst case you use tin snips and trim the skid plate yourself , it's pretty thin and it's an easy fix .

Yeah I agree about the look of mine , but I'm going to put on a 6" lift this winter and for now they will have to do .

Here is something that might help you out Tire size calculator

I like your truck Bill, I re-read my post and I hope you didn't take it wrong.

You going 35" on the 6"? Pro-comp lift?

I'll add that I don't like the look of mine at all right now, doesn't even look like a 4X4. And at my property it bottoms out where my F150 supercrew had no problems. I bottomed out one of my N-fabs today..
