Pics of Tires on stock 18's

I'm debating 20's but I was wondering if anyone had pictures of any all terrain/street tires on the stock 18's after a leveling kit. Thanks.

Looks nice Turnandburn. I you don't mind me asking, how much are you paying to get the 3 and 1 level kit done?

Great thread, as I was wondering the same thing.

Nice truck turnandburn.

Just got my truck Friday.

I am having the original TRD rims powder coated Black next week.

Next, I was thinking of putting a leveling kit on, because I measured a 3 inch difference b/t front and rear.

Once I do that, I want to order the biggest A/T tire that will fit the OE rim.

Does anyone know what size that would be?

I was thinking like Nitto TG 285/65/R18 or bigger, but when I looked at the
2007-2008 Toyota Tundra - 2" Leveling Kit by Tuff Country it says " allows you to run 32x10.5 tires".

The nitto above is 11inches wide and even the 275/70 is wider than 10.5, so does this mean I cannot run any tire basically over OE size without a lift?

If so, then what is the minimum lift I can get away with and say, still run a 33 to 35 inch tall tire?

The kit was 370.00 and the labor was 300.00. I could have put it in myself but i just dont have the time. Id say thats in canadian dollars but theres not much difference now is there.

They're the 285/65/18s. I do not currently have a lift on the truck. My next mod is the 305s and a 2.5 OME HD lift to carry that Ranch Hand when these tires wear out.

Hey, gboffroad, will you post a link to a pic that isn't pixelated. I wanna see how much of a difference there is between the 275 and the 285s in sidewall height.

You won't notice too much from 275 to 285.

But you will notice from 275 to 305.

But that's just IMO seeing how I deal with tires everyday.

I'm going with the 285 75 18 for the LT rating load range E, and to try and keep the MPG at bay.
