18" Wheel /Tires

What is the Widest Tire One could comfortably put on an 18" inch Wheel , My Truck is a Two Wheel Drive , Regular Cab, Short Bed , I am looking for A good Handling Sport Truck Kind of Tire, Something Wider Stance than the Stocker Tire the Truck came from dealer With, I am in Hawaii Where its warm year Around, BFG are Nice But No Real off Roading with this truck, they were Nice for my 05-Dodge Ram-2500 Diesel

I am looking for a Nice performance / handling Wide stance Tire that I can Fit on the 18-inch Sized Wheel?

Well mine came with 285/55/20 so I'm assuming you could go with a 55 wide series tire . You can look here Nitto Tire - High Performance Tires for Car and Truck Enthusiasts

285 would be the width, 55 is the aspect ratio, meaning it is equal to 55% of the width.

I had the BFG's on my Truck I just sold ram-2500 diesel they were great esp if your going off road at all, they are a much heavier tire than others.
My Tundra is only a 2-wheel Drive , Regular Cab,Shortbed so I am going for a Street performance / handling Tire that I can comfortably Fit on the 18-inch Wheel, that proovides a nice Wide Stance and best handling, no off roading for this truck.

Its going to be a little harder to find a wide performance tire for a factory 18, I will look around and see if I find something.

Yokohama AVS S/T check these out, the sidewall will be a little shorter though, but its near impossible to find a performance tire with a high sidewall on a 18.
