Tires for SR5...18"

What are some good options for a 08 Tundra SR5?

In the last 36 hours we have gotten about 1.5-2' of snow, and the stock tires suck in it. I wasn't able to keep up to a Hemi in the snow today in the parking lot at work. I got stuck, and he was able to keep going. And the Hemi's 20' tires are anything but great in the snow.

Just in case anyone doesn't know what size the stock michelin LTX's are, they are a 275/65 18. I don't want to go with an oversized tire, rather a direct replacement.

Ramoine's got it! BFG's all the way. Aggressive tread, great in the snow, not too loud, and you'll get tons of miles out of em. Oh ya black walls out!

I've had 6 sets of BFG A/T's and personally wouldn't go with anything else, but..... they suck on ice. Excellent in every other category including dry/wet handling, noise, mileage, looks, etc. If you need traction on ice I'd try out the Bridgestone Revos if I were you, especially if you don't want to go up a size or two. If not, BFG A/T's all the way!

Did you ever try airing down the BFG's when you were driving in icy conditions?

I don't thing I would want a light tire that's for sure dude. BFG by far makes one of the best tires on the road.

i'd want a light WEIGHT tire for MPG. I know BFG's are good (some of the machines I've designed are used to make them!) I ran BFG's on my 350 as well... however the expense and weight seem to make them less of a competitor for me.... at least for now.
