I am anxious to see your truck after you drop it. When is it going to happen? Waiting on funds?

Are you going to debadge your truck. I have been thinking about this for a while and I don't dislike the badges, but I think taking off the tundra would look good. The trucks with all the badges striped have started looking kind of generic to me. What's your take on this?

Thanks for your service. I've been in the National Guard 6 years and have done a 14 month tour in Iraq, and fixing to go back within the next year and a half.

Personally I don't like big wheels and low profile tires on any vehicle, but that's my personal preference. What other people do to their vehicles with their money is up to them. Just because one person doesn't like something doesn't make it illegal to put on someone else's vehicle.

I'd rather see a lifted truck myself, but hey, I haven't seen a lowered Tundra yet, and who knows it might look pretty cool, especially lowered, and debadged.

Wildbill, here you go. Think of it as a hot rod truck. Thank both you guys for your service to our country and good luck this next time around in Iraq. I'll keep you in my prayers.

24s look good, I want em just not sure if I want to drop my CM or not. Still want to pull the boat around and not sure how it will act w/ big rims and lowered.

Any thoughts?

I struggled with the samething. Go to tundraracing.com and get the rear flip kit, put super springs on the back, drop some 22's all the way around and you should be good. I like the 24's also, but I know you can put a tire with better load rating and bigger profile if you go with the 22", so you don't have trouble when you hit major potholes. Look at blue thunder on the tundraracing site. Nice set up. I was going to switch mine to this, but I have a really great ride right now, so all is good.

I'm going to take off the sr5 badges but i'm leaving the tundra badges on cause they are painted black....kinda goes with the black and silver theme....but if i had a different color truck i'd say debadged is the way to go, it looks clean that way

Sapper in the "has anybody put the groundforce drop kit" thread there is a newbie named slamedyoda. He has got the same wheels as you, all blacked out and slammed. Check him out, his truck looks tight

What was idiotic is that you called his 24 inch wheels "dubbs". The term dubbs is a reference to the 2 twos (doubles) ...as in 22 inch wheels. Dubbs.

Agreed! If they don't know what "Dubbs" means they're either too young or too old. Hahaha! Hey B0, next time you wanna comment on a post click the "quote" option in the bottom right of the post and the original post will appaer along with your comment. That's also in the best interest of the readers. Great post btw!
