Im looking at the Revo's as well. Pretty sharp tire. I had duelers on my Silverado when purcashed new and they threw more rocks than a bored 12yo kid standing in a rock pit. They were horrible. Is this a problem with the Revo's? The BFG's don't hardly throw rocks at all. Are the BFG's quiet on the Tundra?

I dont have an issue with the noise made by the BFG's, they hardly make any at all.
Compared to the Dueler HT's that came on it they are louder but the Bridgestone's were also not an AT tire.

I can't say the Revos threw any more or any less rocks than any other AT.

The computer telling me ~17MPG was with the spedo running about 3 MPH fast so the calculations were not right and I never manually calculated it. Now with a little bigger tire the spedo and the computer are actually correct. So, in my head I would like to think that it is not that big of a change

The tire weight is a problem with the BFG's. They usually weigh 15-20 pounds more for each tire than other "street friendly" AT tires. I could really tell a difference on an 02 Ram with the 4.7. The truck would constanly shift down under normal driving on a incline or headwind. It was a pain.

I will try to get some pictures with better lighting a little later, just wanted to share.
Are the tires you got BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO? Are there any issues with rubbing with the 285's. I really like the looks of these tires and since i haul quite a bit in my truck I really want to get into a set of LT tires.

Yeah they are AT's and there is no problems with rubbing at all. You can actually put 305's on it without rubbing, I just did not want to go that big.

Looks good man. I have a set on my truck too.

I run 45/45. The lady at BFG told me 50/55. Somebody else emailed them and they got the same response.

I probably would run that high except I don't have a gauge that is accurate past 50. lol

That's way too high unless you're towing/hauling. The Tundra is only a half ton truck and if you put that kind of pressure combined with switching to an E load rated tire you'll need to invest in a kidney belt. My TRD is borderline too stiff with the stock 6 plies and 37psi.

I agree it's a bit stiff; however, I'm not going for saving my teeth lol, I'm going for longevity of those tires.

Turns out I got two bald spots so my front two are going to be replaced tomorrow.

Also, they're balancing them with 6.5 oz of weight about lol. That's a LOT of weight compared to everybody I've talked to.

So how is your speedo now correct? Does it correct itself? What is MPG with the BFG's when you check it manually?
