cracked sidewall

I just got a 2008 crewmax less than 2 weeks ago, and today I noticed a crack in one of my sidewalls. Has anyone had any similar trouble, and do you think they will replace the tire. Thanks.

I had Bridgestones, 3 days after I bought the truck (2008 Tundra) my left rear tire had a split on the side wall, then a few days later it got a couple more splits. Then with in a week the 2 front tires got splits on the side walls. The dealer was tring to put it off as a road hazzard, I told him that it was a problem with the tires.
I call Toyota and had a case started it went back and fourth and finally the dealer put a new set of tires on free of charge.

The # for toyota is 1 800 331 4331 First go to your dealer and have a ticket wrote up. If they won't take care of it then you call this number and get a case started.
I spoke to a lady by the name of Robin, she's a case manager.

Good Luck !

They replaced mine with Bridgestones, because they said that they were replacing the tires that were on the truck.

I left those replacement tires on for 2 days and then replaced them with tires and wheels that I bought from a tire shop. The tires I put on were from a TRD that has BF Goodrich.

I took the tire to a bridgestone dealer and they are replacing it for free- no questions asked. I hope these tires are not a problem.

Toyota and the dealer mentioned that I should to a Bridgestone dealer, I told them I JUST BOUGHT THIS TRUCK ! Why should I have to run around town and deal with a third party. Besides I didn't buy his truck from a Bridgestone dealer, I bought it from Toyota.

I hear ya. Luckily I have a bridgestone dealer less than 10min from my house, which is actually closer than the dealership I bought the truck from.
