I was hoping for a section like this!!!

So lets get this started. Will these rims fit my 08 Tundra?

Store

According to the website they will, just wondering if anyone here has these Ultra wheels on their truck and if so, what size tires with them?

They would fit but isnt there something odd with the Tundra's lug pattern?

Yea, that's why I'm asking. According to the site, they will fit but how accurate is that? I'd definatly call them before ordering but I was just hoping someone here already had them on their truck just to verify that they would fit. I think the odd thing about the tundra wheels is the 5x150 bolt pattern, but I'm not sure.

Great idea!!! I'm waiting for an nice conservative ALL black 18" with the 5x150 bolt pattern. Something along the lines of the American Racing mojave (Teflon?) I figure somebody will get around to it, as soon as there are enough Tundras on the road to make it worthwhile....

Anyone out there have this combo. Please reply.
BFG's 285/65/20 on the stock - 2007-2008 Crewmax 4X4 - 20" rims and a 2.5 Toytec lift?
Looks like it may work but I want to make sure before I go for it. (It's a 34.7" tire)
Someone must, Right?
Any rubbing or problems at all?

I have something close that might help you out. I have 2.5 inch DR coil-overs with 305/65/18 (33.7) and I needed to trim the skid plate to make it not rub. I don't think it would work unless you had some spacers and the correct off set. Stock 20's would not work. Hope this helps. I am also adding the Fox shocks to the rear. It should smooth out the ride. I will let you know how it works.

Someone else posted this in a new thread but it works in this one better.

Okay,

I figured I'd start this out for most of those that are seeking new wheels for their 07+ Tundra.

1) The bolt pattern for the new Tundras (07-08) is 5x150mm (or sometimes referred to as "5 on 150").

The stock offset is 60mm. The stock offset moves the wheel further inward inside the wheel well.

most of the aftermarket wheels available feature a 30mm offset (roughly 1 inch) as opposed to the 60mm offset featured on the OEM wheels. This means that the wheel center will be 1" further out of the well. So, the same size tires would creep further to the outside of the wells. This gives the setup a more aggressive look. It also slightly alters the handling characteristics (now your truck is 2" wider from wheel to wheel) and helps to accomodate slightly wider tires.

Most of the wheel manufacturers haven't caught up with the new wheel spec's for the 07-08 Tundras, so you'll probably have to shop like crazy to find just the wheel you want.

A couple of manufacturers that I have found that DO have the new patterns are:

Moto Metal
Granite Alloy
Gear Alloy
Mickey Thompson
Dick Cepek

Your best bet is to do a search featuring "5x150" and "wheel" or "wheels" together.

After all my shopping and research, I decided to go with Moto Metal 951 (chrome) 20 inch wheels with Cooper LTZ 305/55R20s (which are on backorder) or possibly 275/60R20s. (The Cooper LTZ are the best value tire I could find providing decent looks, great price, low noise, good wear, good traction, etc). I'm using a 2" leveling kit to help ensure the 33" tires don't rub. Pictures coming soon.

I have LT305/65/r18 BFGoodrich all terrain tires on my Tundra and they look great in my opinion. However, a repair-shop-guy asked me how they were wearing. I said, "actually, with just 6k miles and have seen a pretty significant amount of tread loss". He told me it was because the compound used to make this tire is really soft. I've priced them out at around $1200(set of 4)!! and I can't imagine getting 40k miles out of these tires. Does anyone know of another tire manufacturer that makes this size and is worth the money? I appreciate all the help.

That's a 33.5" tire (almost)....and it's difficult finding it that skinny.

Nitto makes a Terra Grappler Tire Sizes - Discount Tire Direct

in 325/60R18 for a decent price. It's slightly wider.

I've never run terra grapplers, but the other tires I've ran from nitto (555 and 555R) have both been very good.

I've found nothing but great reviews about the new Cooper LTZ series. Looks great, apparently has virtually no road noise and the wear is supposed to be above average. You can't beat the price of the tire. Unfortunately, you have to settle for more mainstream sizes though.

Any Chrome 18" 5 spokes?

Anyone know of any out there reasonably priced? (5, 6, or 7 spokes would work)

If I hadn't wanted wider tires, I would have went with these:
