I have a chance to get some FN BFD wheels CHEAP. Cheaper than if I where to get regular wheels, wheels costing $200+/-. I like the fact that they are lighter and stronger than ALOT of wheels out there. I dont like the plane looking design. I will be putting 295/70-18, which weight around 72#. I want to be as light as possible. So 22# for FN + 72# tires is 94. Most other wheels are around 37-40#. Lets say 38# wheel and 72# tire= 110. Thats a difference of 16# per wheel/tire combo. What would you do? Do you like the FN BFD wheel or would you go with a different wheel and say screw the weight?
I think they're nice looking wheels, in fact I almost went with the Gray ones since they are so similar to the magnetic gray color of my truck but decided against it and went a different route. They look great and I don't think you'll be disappointed if you go with them
I do like the fact that they are a clean look. What really calls my attention is the weight. I prefer to keep my get-up and go and braking as close as possible to oem.
