22"TRD Wheels Installed

It hit 80 degrees today and i got the bug to put my wheels on...lets just hope it don't snow..lol. my wife hates them!!! she thinks there's to much space between the tire and fenders. i assumed its because these have less tire then the stocks? i think they look good IMO,but i figured i post and see what you guys think? thanks.

I think your wife is right unfortunately... Little bit bigger tire and it will look even better!

Now you need to drop it.

22" at factory height just don't work IMO.

I've always like those wheels but I think you do need a larger tire on there to fill it out a little more. Truck looks good though.

will going with a taller tire compromise the ride or the handling?

Shouldn't be too noticeably different. I mean from what you are running on now it actually may be smoother. Think about having a larger air cushion in them?

taller tire will have alot better ride, less sidewall means less flex..and you feel the bumps, a taller tire absorbs the bumps alot more.

a taller tire will sway more left and right when you turn, vs a smaller sidewall, handling wont be to noticeable for you....I have a 285 75 17 and when its windy my truck sways back and forth.

Maybe if you were putting on a 35" mud tire..

I agree with everyone else, tires too small.

I would check out discount tire honestly. They are a supporter on here and you can find them on the forums. But when I ordered my rims and tires I called them and voiced my concerns and the tech told me what would fit what mods if any i needed to do and he gave me a bangin deal. Let us know what you find out
