Not sure witch one is beeter but they'll both do the trick. I saw a thread either here or at TS where a guy removed everything down to the metal in his cab and did the whole thing in Dynamat! Gnarly job!

I bought 4 rolls of eDead to do my truck. They've been sitting in the garage for a few months. Haven't had time to strip the inside of the truck yet.

From what I have read, RAAMmat is supposed to be the best bang for the buck. It's good, but it's not cheap. There are several independent sites on the web that test all the major brands and give you their results.

wow

is this really necessary? I have to type r 12's with 1550 watts pushing them and the only problem i had was the storage compartments on the ceiling rattling, which i easily fixed. Sorry guys, never used this stuff and i had 3
12's in my 2001. Is this just to protect the truck from rattling apart?

I love Thirdhorseman's truck. It's clean and stealthy. All black and blacked out everything. SEX-E

It does reduce rattles and vibrations in the truck, but it's more for sound quality. It helps to reduce road and wind noise (along with any other noises). If you are just pushing a lot of SPL, then this won't matter much to you. Though it will help to keep some of that noise in the vehicle.

The ceiling is pre insulated from the factory, I don't think it needs it but I'm sure there is someone out there that's done it on a vehicle.

Not really. They have a few foam spacers spread around up there. No real insulation.

I ran wires from the dash up the a-pillars and across to the roof console in two different Tundras.
