I tried to see if I had a picture to show the foam squares, but I don't seem to have any. Here's a picture of the roof console removed. As you can see, there is just the headliner and the roof with a gap between. In that gap (that you can't see) are foam cubes spaced out between the headliner and the roof. That does create a gap, but it's not insulation. When I pull the interior from the truck, I will take a better picture to show what's up there.

Then that's what I gotta do cuz I have (3) 12' subs on a 1500 watt (just ordered a 2500) and my whole cab sounds like shaking a coffee can with a hand full of pennies in it. I've seaeched out a few and stopped em but I think all the screws are starting to rattle loose! The 3 Pioneers with a monoblock is increadible.

hey dez your truck has 3 12'' subs does your over head console rattle my last few cars/ trucks alll rattled but they were 1992-2003 so they werent all built like this new tundra.

Sure does! The two little lights rattle like crazy so I stuffed some cardboard in em till I figure a more perminent cure.

nevermind reading this post just told me everything! i think imma put the sound deadening everywhere from top to bottom but imma wait till late august or september whenever jl releases the 07-08 toyota tundra crewmax stealthbox!!!! i want to do everything at once i hope i know itll be easier than working on my last pick up truck 99 dakota r/t ext cab it was hard to movearound back there no room at all i was too lazy to remove the seats! and i was working in july around noon in phoenix arizona in my apt parking lot!!!! back in 2005!!!! that was hells kitchen!

I think it was the eDead v1² and it cost about $1 per square foot. I think I bought 120 square feet. But don't quote me on that. It's been at least 6 months since I bought it.

yup now i have to see what i want to order then order the mats and the wiring then run everything this way when the subs are released i can just install everything else.......
