Aux

Is there anyway to hook an amp up to the Aux input in my Tundra DC. And if not, can I leave the factory head unit in?

you can hook up aftermarket amps to the stock head units.

I guess you want the input from an MP3 player (or whatever) louder? There have been a few people put in small in-line amplifiers made for MP3 players and portable CD players. All the ones I have seen did it outside the dash instead of wiring it up behind the dash.

I'm not sure what you are asking here.

I mean can I hook up an amp for subwoofers through the aux port. If not, I can hook up an amp without having to get an aftermarket head unit right?

The aux port is a stereo input. You can connect an amp to the stereo if you use a stereo to line level converter. That takes your speaker outputs and converts them to a low voltage line level signal that an amp can use.
