Need Help!

Im installing a In-dash DVD player and I need to know where to hook the pink wire up.. I know its by the parking brake but how do you get to it to connect them?

Dude if that's the wire that ties into the parking break supply side don't do it! All you have to do is connect that wire to ground. This will allow your passanger to watch dvd's while you drive. Lemme know exactly what the pink wire does bro.

I have heard that way.. To ground the pink wire and hook it to a power supply.. Where should i ground it and where do you get a hot power supply? If you could give me instructions on how to do this it would be great.. And are you the one that said you had to keep switching it every time the truck shifted?

Sooner, on your instruction sheet what does it say the pink wire is for?

If I put my truck in park the dvd works and when I put it n gear it needs to be grounded. Every time I put it in gear it needs to be grounded so I grounded it then cut a switch into the ground wire so when I wanna use the dvd player while driving (for the passanger ) I just flip the little toggle switch on and off once and the OK button comes on the screen.

The pink wire is for the parking brake.. I heard you have to ground it with the switch to work
