I am pulling mine this Friday. I am installing pioneer avic-d3x. I will let you know how it goes. Anyone else install one of these. I am just curious where I am going to put the xm, bluetooth, and ipod modules. I also need a patch to the glove box for the ipod cable.

Good luck! I started at 6pm and ended at 4am installing that radio. (It was the attempt to find the speed sensor wire and the fact that I am not smart when it comes to vehicle electronics.... or maybe because a co-worker showed up with a pack of Yuengling bottles) I put the XM and bluetooth modules under the cup holders in the console. The iPod cable I routed underneath the console and up between the passenger seat and the console itself. I just keep my iPod in the console.

But since you have a bench you can always just put everything under the driver or passenger seat and route the cables through the side and behind the dash. I had an '07 Tundra with a bench and I do remember that there was some room in that special compartment under the seat in the middle once you have the folding console up. There may be some room in there to mount the components.

Let me know if your bluetooth works like it should. I believe the directions say to always have the bluetooth connected to power at all times (even when the truck is off). I didn't make it that way and now every time I want to connect my phone to my stereo I have to go through the 5-minute ordeal (resets itself when I turn the truck off) so I just don't do it anymore. If I do get it connected and attempt to dial I hear nothing out of the truck speakers or the phone speaker. I think it may have something to do with that dvd mod with the mute wire being rerouted.
