I just purchased a new head unit and it came with a a/v cable to hook up to my ipod.. Will it charge my ipod while its hooked up?

Mine does but I installed the cable that has a module. Sooner, everything go OK with the ground wire deal bro? ... or did you get killed watching a movie while driving? Haha!
