Question Tips, Suggestions on Replacing Antenna

Here's a fun one. Ran my truck through a car wash and the stock radio antenna broke off. The original antenna was retreived, however the tip with the threads are still in the truck.
I am considering replacing with a New Electric Radio Antenna - one that can be put down when I run my truck through a car wash.

Any suggestions on brands, places to purchase, or tips on easily installing one? By the looks of things I might have to remove the front quarter panel to install one?

Need help, tired of only getting 1/4 of the local radio stations.

Does Toyota have remote antenna? That would be great to have one. I would prefer that over this one I got. I do make sure I take mine off everytime I go through any car wash. I don't trust any of them. Hopefully someone will post something on this. Very intrested in this too.

Could resort to the inside hidden antenna. Not sure on how well they perform though. I took my antenna off because XM is all I need.

I have a brand new one still in the package, that got extra when I purchased my truck. Would you like for me to send it to you?
