Box I built for my dc. 2 subs and amp rack.

I've built many boxes, so I figured I'd build up sumtin' for my DCT.

It was made to house x2 ED 7's but will also work for tang band 6.5's And some other smaller subs i'm sure. Both boxes have the same air space, 0.27cu each.

The Amp rack was made to fit a USAMPS ax5600 which is a huge amp, almost 24" long.
Everything fits nice and tight, I also left some room for a face plate, which I was going to fill with plexi.

I've changed my mind on my setup and now this thing is for sale, just figured I would post some pictures of it.

Hey bro, did you know there's a way to access behind your seats without having to remove them. I came up with a mod and it works sweet! That JL amp would fit back there with no problem and you can access it for adjustments. Then you can have 3 subs under the seats!

Actually a US AMPS ax-5600 was going in, that JL is just an amp I have laying around. I'm planning on 1-2 Ascendant Audio assassin 8 or some Sound Splinters - rl-i8.

Undecided on my sub choice yet though I will be running alpine PDX amps.

I need to take pictures of my Alpine 9835 headunit, in its new home and its new location.

What is this mod, and how does it work.

Alright, you start off by taking the seat or seats completely out. On the upper back of each seat there are 2 plastic coated metal hooks, cut 1-1/4" off each hook. Make sure you cut the hooks at the same angle. Now bolt the seats back up. Now when you pull the latch on the seat and lift the seat you will notice the back of the seat raises. It will now raise the hooks above the little bars and the seat back will unhook and lean forward for access. When you put the seat back down the hooks secure tight once again. When I figured this out I thought there's no way its that easy!

Great work, I just need to know now how to take out the back seats !
Now why didn't Toyota make them like this ?

on another note:
I've gone and changed my mind with my setup and will no longer be using this box. If someone is Local and interested lmk, just come and pick this sucker up.

6 bolts, just lift the seat and you'll see em all. There's a couple of torques bolts too. Its a 20 minute mod!
