SoCal: Painting my 08 Tundra SR5 Front Bumper

I have a 2008 CrewMax SR5

It has the white/chrome/black front bumper

does anyone know where i can get the entire thing painted to match the white .. meaning get the chrome and black parts painted?

I've read that chrome is hard to paint, so i was wondering if anyone had a place i could rely on to do all the prep work properly.

I am located in Orange County.

Thanks for your help.

hahah, I just think no one knows!!!! I'd like to know too. I was going to call around my local paint shops to see what it would cost. It just isn't on my priority list. Next up is a lift/rims/tires. THEN start blacking it out.

Sweet. How much did all that hardware run you and how much do you expect to pay for install?

$5200 is a GOOD price .. some shops may charge you upwards of $6500+

Call Outlaw Offraod, talk to Sean Romo .. he's a friend of mine .. he should be able to hook it up

and yes, any good paint shops?? haha

I heard painting over the chrome wasnt a good idea. It wont stick well. I wanted to do my bumper black, and was told it wouldnt hold well.

I've talked to a couple guys on forums who do painting for a living, and they say it will hold perfectly fine as long as you do proper prep work.

I did purchase a limited resin bumper though, so i just need a reliable paint shop, no need to paint the chrome anymore.

You know they can powder coat over chrome. I dont know how it would come out but they can make it glossy.
