tech12volt,
I have a headunit on the way and the new JL 13TW5's are shipping now. The current plan from JL on their stealthbox design is to use 2 without any room for amp mounting and to lose 2 notches on slider. This is unacceptable. I am willing to cut the back cover, add deadening material to the back wall and slide a box (potentially made by you) to get an additional 2 inches. I am looking for either a 1 sub setup or 2 sub setup with 3 conditions...
1) I have to not loose any leg room or seat functionality
2) I would like to be able to mount my chrome PPI PC1800 and PC4400 either beside or above for show
3) I would like to not lose access to the spare tire jack panel located on the Pass side.

Do you think that this is do-able? The sub needs 0.6 cubic feet per sub and has a mounting depth of only 2.54 inches. Check out the specs and see what you can do for me.

JL Audio Products: Subwoofers / 13TW5

Thanks!
Chadrick

Yes this doable with no problems. With 2.5 inches of mounting depth.

Here is my enclosure in my 08 CM. No leg room lost due to removal of stock sub. Ports out of the Jack area.
