How Do You..........

how do you remove the stock radio? Im going to intall a DVD/NAV system and I can figure out how to remove the face plate around the radio

This shows how to install the XM satellite radio, but contains instructions on how to remove the head unit.

I just started at the panel under the steering wheel and worked clockwise removing everything til I got to the radio. Seemed to work just fine, but i'm not sure if it's the fastest way

Start by pulling the drink holder out ( it just pops apart) then there are a few screws inside the drink holder space. If you are patient it will come apart in 4 nimutes. I've done it a few times.
