Payload Sticker Picture Post

Just looking to have a one stop shop for people to go to see actual payload information for different years, trim levels and configurations.

Post a picture of your "Tire and Loading Information" sticker and tell us about your Tundra. (Year, trim level, cab configuration, engine, 2WD/4WD & bed length). Any other relevant information is welcome.

If you have an additional caution sticker for "Load carrying capacity reduced" near the tire pressure/payload sticker, include that as well along with what factory installed options in which you believe are causing the payload reduction.

Here's mine:

2017 SR5 Crewmax 5.7L V8 4WD 5.5' bed 38 gal tank.
Factory installed accessories are brushed stainless running boards, receiver hitch and spray in bed liner.

1270lbs - 97lbs = 1173lbs payload.

Let's see yours!

Thank you in advance for participating and helping others that are interested or just researching.

Something must not be represented correctly and here is why I think this. Your payload is 1175. Ok, mine is 1425lb and I have a 15 DC, 4x4 with 6.5 bed and 26.5 gal tank. However, I work for Volkswagen and their Tiguan, a compact SUV, has a payload of 1145lb. Their Jetta, a compact sedan has a payload of 1087. I HIGHLY doubt Toyota would build a 5500 lb V8 monster to have the same payload as a uniframe COMPACT SUV or sedan with barely a suspension and no tow rating.

So maybe this sticker applies to JUST the passenger compartment? On the build sheet my truck says 1610 lb payload for the same setup in the bed.

Payload capacity is GVWR minus actual curb weight(which may be different from base model factory specs). Check this link - scroll down to page 5 - to see. 2011 Tundra Crew Max is around 1500 lbs before added on accessories.

Thank you all for the feedback so far!

Part of the reason I started this post is because I also thought something was wrong with my sticker. As you can see in the 2017 Tundra Product Information below, my 4x4 Crewmax 5.7 should have a starting payload of 1560lbs before accessories based on the specs and when I got my truck it came in with only 1270lbs. I am not sure why there is a difference of 290lbs?? I was under the impression that the payload included a full tank of gas and a 150lb driver? I tow a 30ft travel trailer, so 290lbs means a lot.

I have read that others with Crewmax cabs are close to 2000lbs payload. Is there a special max payload package that is above and beyond the standard tow package that I'm not aware of?

A guy I work with said he thinks he remembers something about a recall for the stickers being incorrect? Anyone else ever hear of this? He drives a Tacoma though.

Please keep the pictures coming, would love to see some more payload stickers for different Tundra configurations.

Thank you in advance!

Duke

Yeah, according to that chart my payload is 1630lb minus the 56lb for the yellow sticker. If that door sticker is correct, I'm going to be overloaded. If the chart is correct, I'm OK.

Here is my previous 2012 DC Grade 4x4 4.6L V8 6.5ft bed. I couldn't find a picture of the yellow sticker but it did come with a the tow package, drop in bed liner and brushed stainless steel running boards. It also had the 26.4 gal tank, 6 passenger seating.

1255lbs payload capacity.

There was one years ago for the stickers, as well as inflation values.

My 2010 RW was under it.

So, it was a while ago.

Apparently they didn't learn:

This was the only thing flagged when I bought mine. Then the bumper recall....

I have no idea why the payload reduction sticker is merely 4 lbs., floor mats possibly?

This is about where the 4WD Crewmax is supposed to be according to the spec sheet....

Is your 2011 RCSB 5.7 2WD or 4WD? What trim level is it?

Sorry, you're not going to see my sig in Tapatalk. It's 4WD with SR5 trim and bucket seats giving it the two passenger capacity versus 3 with a bench.
