Tekonsha voyager brake control

I have this device installed in my turck, they say its for brake control, is it any good or shall i remove it?

It is for trailer brakes if you are going to tow a trailer with brakes. It won't hurt anything being installed even if you don't tow a trailer. It will handle just about any trailer you might tow so it's a decent trailer brake controller.

Yep, what he said. It turns on automatically when you hook up a trailer with brakes but otherwise just sits there...begging.
