If you are going to use a U-Haul trailer they ask you what your towing and what your towing with. They wont let you take it if it dosent work in there computer. Thats what happened when I went.

If you can check the door on the PW and get the weight then compair to what your truck can tow.

You can drop the PW off at my place if you want. I have room for one more truck

A 1980 Powerwagon is a classic which is an extreme 4x4 machine. As are all Powerwagon's. Not sure on the weight though.. I would say, um "heavy".

It doesn't sound like it is the weight or the tow vehicle here. It sounds like it is all about the trailer. They typically have surge brakes on Uhaul trailers. Just make sure everything is secured well and take it easy. Drive like you don't have trailer brakes and you should be fine. I hope you have some experience towing!!!

IMO trailer brakes are for oh $hit situations.

Use the tow haul mode it helps.
