Hauled a Yard of Fill Dirt

Just an FYI. I built a brick patio this weekend. I hauled a yard of fill dirt this weekend. The truck was on it's bump stops. The engine and trans handled it great! Tow/Haul mode helped with slowing down, although it did feel like my old tahoe's braking. The truck handled as you would expect with around 2K in the bed.

After I got the dirt down, I hauled 65 12x12 inch patio bricks 12 bags of sand and 30 regular bricks. This put it just above the bump stops.

I know...I know. Pictures. Sorry, I was on a roll this weekend and forgot to take pics. I did finish my patio though. ha ha

Yeah...on the drive home, I said to myself over and over to take pictures, but, like I said, I got on a roll and forgot. That's what happens when you mix testosterone, mud, trucks and home improvement. Forgetfulness...or is that age?

That is true. You don't realize how big a change unless you have before and after pics. But the outcome is always nice, you feel like you accomplished something when you can look back and see your work.

I just clicked over the 2k mile mark on my Tundra 5.7 SR5.

For anyone curious, it listed the payload max at 1580 lbs. I just ran a load of scrap to the recycle place, and I had...drum roll.....

2125 lbs in the back. I SHOULD have used the tow button (Does this help?).
She was squatting a little bit but the boys with the fords (they use 350's where I work) were impressed since the tires didnt squash hardly at all. PLUS I was cruising on the road heading to the dump doing 85 with no problem at all.

NEVER through to take pics though.

If there aren't any pics, then it never happened.

I can top y'all.

I got a pallet of concrete that weighs 2000 lbs in the back, PLUS the cement mixer, PLUS the 2x4x8s plus some random shit. Not to mention, myself at about 170 plus my passenger at like 250.

I was impressed.

Here she is:

That's impressive Rock! Your rear end isn't showing any signs of strain either.

Gracias. It was quite the load. When I drove over the curb and up the hill it grabbed my mud flap lol. When I thouht it was my exhaust I was pissed but when I fonud it what it was I didn't care. No damage or signs of strain on the flap either.

Here's a pic of the bump stops.

Here's a pic of like 3/4 a yard of dirt (when I cared about payload capacity lol)
