O just wanted to throw up a pic I had taken. Did have some bad news caught a rope in one out drive while leaving broke the u-joints on one outdrive so we got to drive home 10mph all the way back to Huntington Harbor. Was the longest boat ride ive ever been on. Part was cheap to fit atleast.

Dohhhhhh! Ah man, how big was the surf on the way back once you got out of the lee of the island? Hunnington harbor! That's quite a journey bro! 45 miles or so isn't it? I used to work for these guy's in Pasadena during the week then in Avalon for their father on weekends. Spent many many days on Catalina Island. Got to know everyone in town. Hope that little tragedy didn't set you back too much. I just love the way these new lifted Tundra's look while towing.

Avalon to Huntington Harbor is only 27 miles too us about 4 hours to get back though. The boats already fixed and ready to take out this weekend. I got lucky on that.

Seeing as a straight shot across the chanel from Pedro is 26 miles I would think down to Hunnington would be at least 10 or so miles more. Hmmmmmm. Oh well good to hear the prob is fixed and your gonna give it another shot. Have fun man!

Haven't been there since 1989. My friends Grandma lived on Catalin - i am sure she has passed by now. Cool island!
