950lb tongue weight
I am looking at a travel trailer that has a 950lb tounge weight and 7000 dry weight. I am a little concerned on the tongue weight. I have a 08 5.7 4x4 tundra. What are you thoughts?

................doesn't an equalizer/weight distributing hitch eliminate a lot of the tongue weight? I can't imagine towing 7K lbs. without one.

I would have a weight distribution hitch for sure. That hitch only distributes weight, does not lessen. Anyone have a TT with similar tongue weight. We love the trailer and the price is right but we don't want to be on the edge all of the time.
