I use a bifold alum 6' ramp for my 05 Yamaha Kodiak w/26x12 ITP mulites and ITP black out rims...I tell you about the rims and tire size bc it added an extra 80 lbs almost!! 3 ply vs 6 ply...I think I'm right around 550 lbs or so and I have had no probs as of yet. Been runnin it up and down the ramp every weekend this summer (almost). The salesman at the dealership told me that the TUNDRA's tailgate was rated to support 1000lbs or something like that...I doubt it, haven't seen anything online to back that claim up.

Beer is still cheaper than gas (in Alaska at least)...so I say drink, don't drive!

those reciever hitch mounts I think are more designed for dirt bikes, not street bikes.

Go buy your self a readyramp and throw it in your bed.
I bought my readyramp which also doubles into a bed extender last month and its fantastic

i bought a good one and the problem i had is when i stopped the bike would just about hit the back of the car . if i were to brake real hard it would have slammed into my window. took mine back after trying to use it and get it to work in the first hour . i always use my trailer or put in the back bed of truck

can you guys post a pic of your set up to load the bike? do you think it's possible to fit two bikes side by side? how hard is it getting the bike on and off with the height of the bed? part of the reason i want to get the truck is for loading bikes.

Although I've been riding offroad all my life, I just ride my moto's up the ramp every time. A little scary sometimes but I've never had an incedent. My rear end is 13" taller than stock too! My little nephew had to try and copy uncle Greg and go for it into the back of my brothers 06 Tundra with a 6" lift (kid has major nads, you should see him ride) and he forgot to let off the gas, slammed into the cab side bedrail then fell over the passanger side.

Did you have to extend your ramps? Or, do they make some extra long ramps for DEZonator trucks?

I thought Greg just jumped his bike off the curb and into the bed ! I'm glad to see he's now using a ramp .
Good thinking Bro , because at your age you can't stay in the air as long as you used too !

Na, I don't stay in the air as long as I used to, I stay longer! I can't help it, I find bigger kickers and my friends just sit back and cringe while I'm having a blast! This was just last year on my 2 stroke!

Just though i would chime in on the cracking tail gate problems. I load my quad into my truck lots using ramps, put the full weight of the quad on the tailgate. Im sure my quad weighs more that 600lbs load with gear and fuel, and to this day not problems.
And look it fits with the tailgate up too nudge nudge.

It loading it by myself I need to sit my truck at the end of my driveway backed in so I can take advantage of the lean angle of the street and the driveway.

You have a DC...that helps a little bit, but I don't think mine would fit still.

I have a Harley Davidson Road King and I won't be trying to haul that on some hitch. It has it's own dedicated trailer that I haul it in.
