I am going t o be driving down to cali with a tow dolly and picking up my Grils old 94 4runner. what kind of numbers should i see? 4runner weighs about 3800 lbs, but i will take the seats out and a few other things to lighten the load. I juust want to make sure i have enough dough to make the trip. is 12 mpg out of the question?

from my previous experiance's towing with my 06 tundra, the best I got towing my boat which was 6000lbs was 8mpg so you might be close, but I would bet on 10 depending what kind of hills.
