I pulled with my Tundra a few weeks ago and it performed very well. The only issue that I noticed was the pin was a little close to the hitch, but it did fit.

I still have to install a brake modulator for my car hauler, but all in time.

Hitch Reciever/Draw Bar rattle is common in a lot of trucks. Also, the draw bar can vary in size from 1/16" to upto 1/4"; even the same draw bar model from the same company.

The fastest and easiest solution: Buy some gutter tin, right angle material at Home Depot (about $1-$2), and use that as a "fitting shim" on one or two sides of the draw bar. It will fit as snug as a bug in a rug.

I have had to use that on all my F150's and F250's, and it works great. You can epoxy the shim to the side of the draw bar if you want; but be careful, it could be too tight.

I use the Toyota receiver that came with my '05 and haven't noticed any rattles. It kinda bugged me though that Toyota no longer provides the receiver with new trucks like they used to.

Thumbs up anti-rattle hitch pin

If your receiver hitch is rattling, install an anti-rattle hitch pin. It can be purchased at cabelas.com. It's about $20 and works great. Check it out.

Yeah I noticed a problem the day I picked up my truck. I took the receiver plug from my traded-in Dodge Ram, stuck it in the receiver of the Tundra and it promptly fell out. I shimmed it with some cardboard just so it would stay in, but the salesman saw I had a Ram head logo plug in the receiver and he quickly replaced it with a Toyota plug. Guess I can't complain... I think those plugs sell for $15 bucks at the parts counter.

This is a drag because I had a custom Reese hitch welded up with a drop that still fit the Tundra, but it now slops around like a "downtown hoe."

I just sprayed my hitch with rubberized undercoating this weekend- the removable part not the truck side. Works great. Might still be bouncing but can't hear it.
