If you haul loads like that on a regular basis you may want to check out Timbren Suspension Enhancement Systems. I have a set of these on my 07 DC 4x4 and it works great, no sag, more stable ride, etc. This system costs way less, and does not have the drawbacks of other systems, plus only took about 30 min. to install.

Had 2100lb on for 12 hrs. Handled it very well. Acceleration and braking were better than former dually one tons. Just over 1" off stops. Unloaded with 12- 40 lb. bags on tailgate at a time.

Nice job!

I once over loaded my 05 Dodge Ram Cummins 2500 with 3,850lbs of river rock for my landscaping job. My neighbor in his 97 Ram Cummins 2500 loaded 4,000lbs in the back of his truck.

Funny thing is... we now both own Toyota Tundra's. His is a silver 07 and mine is a 08 Green CM.

I had to get a load of topsoil and it must have weighed well over 2000lbs. The axle was on the bump stops. The timbren suspension system looks decent but I think it would lose to much wheel travel offroad? I'm really considering air bags. Also the timbren system shows that it fits 2000-2007 and I do not see how thats possible considering that the new body trucks are different?
