PROCOMP 4", BDS 4.5", Icon 5"

I want a lift around 4-5 inches and have been waiting for PROCOMP's to come available for comparison between the BDS and Icon. Does anyone know when or if PROCOMPS suspension is available? I am interested in one of these over a 6" because I still want to be able to fit my truck in my garage, with 35's due to me being in the military and constantly deploying. Also can I get any of the above at 4wheel parts. It is the closest place for me to get installed and their website doesnt offer BDS or ICON as an option.

ANY help is greatly appreciated!

Dave

Boosted, thanks for the info, Ill wait till July to see what they offer, unless I can get ahold of the BDS system through 4wheelparts...My garage clearance is 84.5" right now and I think I can squeeze another inch by raising my garage door a little more, doing the research I should be ok with a 4-5" lift...It would be tight with a 6" any one out there with a 6" lift 20" wheels and 35" tires know the overall height of their truck? Pardon me for not looking around if that is already posted on TT...Your help is greatly appreciated!

you can fit a 6" lift with 35's in there most likely. 84.5 is a touch over 7', most trucks are a little under 7' with the typical lift (procomp etc.)

here check these out.

Lifted and still fits in garage - now I need power folding tow mirrors

Lifted Tundra and a parking garage?

first one pretty much sums it up, you should fit just fine.

Tust me, do a 6" if you can. You always want to go bigger when someone else pulls up with a 6".

And thank you for serving our country.

Its very tempting to do a 6" dont get me wrong, but i have to make sure I do this right the first time. I want my truck in my garage while im deployed for months at a time, not to mention living in a hurricane state, severe sunlight, and daily showers. I want that Pretty truck to stay that way ya know!?!

Boosted, Thanks again for the research...Good to know, Ill have to probably raise my opener if I do end up with a 6", Im confident I wouldnt have to do anything with a BDS 4.5" with 35's, and I do really like the look of that lift. As they always say go big or go home...I'm gonna have to triple check once I get home about the opener as well. Its a two car garage and I always park on the one side so it may never be an issue as long as I stay to one side or the other...Now im playing mind games with myself whether to get a 6" or stay with the proposed 4.5" without haveing to make adjustments to my garage and worry about touching if I get a rock stuck in the tire tread....

Bilstein 5100s Front & Rear / 305/55/R20 Nitto Terra Grapplers / 20" XD Hoss / Interior V-LEDs Overhaul / Upgraded Audio / and more...

I see you mentioned at Icon 5" in the title, no joy on that. It's either the 0-3.5" or 6-7". I keep hearing rumors about this Pro Comp 4", I will be excited to see how it looks!

Yeah I jacked that up. I meant to write ZONE. My bad although going with Coilovers and a 4.5 or 6" would be a very nice ride. I definetly need to beef up this Platnium Silverstreak 4x4 though....

I have the same issue, although I'm not in the military and I don't leave for months at a time. I'm a little hesitant and will probably wait it out a while before I do anything. Let us know what you decide to do.
