TRD Sway Bar resistance to water?

I really want to purchase the trd sway bar after reading all the good reviews on it. However, I tow a boat and use it frequently in freshwater.

Does anyone have any experience with corrosion, rust, or peeling on the sway bar from frequently launching a boat?

Also anyone got any ideas for a coating of some sort I could add to help prevent the paint from chipping, rust and corrosion?

It wont be any worse then driving in the rain or going through a car wash IMHO, they're powdered coated pretty good.

If it'll stay looking new after a bunch of upstate NY winters, it'll be fine getting dunked once in a while.

Don't worry.

Mine has survived 4 winters (tons of road salt) and still looks great! Fresh water dip won't hurt it at all.
