The Coachbuilder Shackles on Pro

Just figured it would be better if we started a new thread for the Coachbuilder shackle route of putting some rake back into the Pro.
A lot of great input in the "275/70/18 Tire Photos on stock TRD Pro" .
Might be tougher for people looking for lift solutions when it's in a tire thread.

Anyway got my Coachbuilder +2 shackles, poly bushings, and carrier spacers from David Ekstrom direct like a few other guys have. 801-635-4872 is his number. Super cool to talk to on the phone.

Picked up a Maddox ball joint service kit for $70 (w/ coupon) from Harbor Freight. Something i didn't have and figured it would come in handy down the road.
Used a Dewalt impact gun and the bushings popped out in a few seconds. Tried to shoot a little vid to show how easy it is to remove bushings.

Shackle kit bolted right up beautifully. With the cap and the crap in the back it should now ride nice and level instead of dragging ass.

Thanks to the other members that turned me on to these.

Jesus I forget how big those shackles are until I see them with a reference for size.

Your truck looks great.
My next move are the Nittos.

Which window vent shades do you have?
Remember the part numbers?

Thanks. Wonderful tires. They are the weather tech ones. They go into the window channels.

Your rear looks like it still has some sag. Do you have some weight in the back or is it just me? Does look good.
I just installed a set of +1 shackles and I definitely like that I got some rake back.

I think it's just the picture. Here is another shot of it after the shackles. Only reason I didn't post this one before is because I feel the photo makes it look like the rear is jacked up higher then it really is. In person it doesn't have as much rake as seen in this photo..

Here is a better photo so you can see the rake that was created with the CB +2 shackles. Keep in mind the ground is inclined some.

Is there a good ball joint press you can rent at one of the auto parts stores that will do what this one does? I don't really want to have to buy one unless I have to.

I'm sure they have something.
You just need a socket type of piece on the one end that will allow the bushing to pop out into.
Like in my video.

Could one of you guys get a front and rear fender height measurement with the +2's?

I'm ordering a set of shims for my pro coilovers and not sure if I should go +2 or +3.

Thanks

You want center of the fender (heightest point) from the ground? All 4 corners? If so I can give you that with +2 shackles and 275's... No shims up front.
