Bulletproof lift problem 2013 Tundra

I just got my 12" Bulletproof lift Friday, it is half installed so far because I ran into a problem.
My bulletproof upper control arms came with the bushings and inner sleeves. It says to use the factory bolt (the real long one) to install the new UCA. Well, the bolt does not fit, it is too big for the sleeves in the bushings. Does anyone know if the 2013 Tundra is different for the bolt size than other years? Anyone else run into this problem? By the way this is a 2013 Tundra 4x4.
I can call BP on Monday but its bugging me and its only Saturday
Just thought Id throw it out there and see what others maybe have seen this before.

I think when the local shop put the BP lift on MoNsTeR450's truck, they had an issue too. I think his is a 2011. IIRC, BP had to send out some additional parts.

Sorry for the late reply, I did talk to Brian and he was somewhat helpful, but still hasn't sent the replacement parts.
I told me to buy a 21/32nd drill bit and drill it out. The drill bit was not in stock anywhere here in my city, so I paid a machine shop $50 (steep in my opinion) to have them machined to the proper i.d.
I think for a $6000 kit he could overnight me the correct parts to install the "complete bolt on kit", but, oh well I needed to get the front of my truck out of the garage so I just went the quicker route. The bulletproof kit was missing ALOT of important bolts and nuts, my fox rear shocks are missing spacers, I could go on and on.... but the build quality of the main lift parts is heavy duty, alot of grinding to make things fit right, (for the 2013 anyway) but in the end it is the best kit.

Ive talked to a local shop that has done 4 BP lifts so far and they said they have had nothing but problems with them. Tabs don't line up and parts are missing. Really considering not buying from BP if their QC went out the door.

I agree, I had to grind almost every part on a corner or shave it down alot to get things to line up. For my truck it was the lower shock mounts, shave a bit of the main cage to clear the factory welds so it would mount, the rear upper shock clevises, etc...
The good news in all this is, even though I have the coilovers cranked pretty high it all aligned to factory specs perfectly and rides great. No regrets at all, just be willing to do some fabrication.

I really wanted to upgrade to a bulletproof but I have heard nothing but little problems that should have been addressed by bulletproof before they sent them out.

Example one Chip's Tundra he had a steering knuckle that was'nt right and they sent him a remanufactured one. He also had to cut off his factory bump stops to prevent rubbing.

Example two Ninja Ed for awhile he had a very hard time keeping an alignment and chewed through a new set of 37's quick to the point where they measured at almost 33's Finally our buddies at 4WP actually had to hit up King Shocks who luckily were in Vegas and gave him some misalignment spacers to get his truck to align properly. Ed also has problems with his coils on his fox shocks he had them powdercoated and somehow the tie rod ends or something was rubbing the powder coat off of his coils.

Example three another guy on here had the similar problems Ed had and had to have some kind of misalignment spacer to get his truck to align properly.

Example four. When Punch did his lift read his build log he had to buy extra tools and had to do some fab work to get his kit to line up to the bolts similar to what the OP said he had to do.

Bulletproof makes a great kit but for $6000 you'd expect almost everything to fit and line up pretty damn close with out having to buy tools and do modifications to get it to work.

Plus I agree Brian should have overnighted you anything you need. The problem i see with Bulletproof is they have no real competition in the 10" and up lift category the only other company out there is Third Coast Suspension and there kit is like 8k without coilovers. BDS, Procomp and some of these other companies need to step up and challenge bulletproof, but I can see why they dont putting a 10" + lift on an IFS is dicey, and you run the risk of bad alignments and stuff being way out of factory spec. too bad we dont have a Solid Front Axle then the skys the limit.

F*ck the IRS screwing up my Long Travel Plans. I love how they try to Indian Give on a waiver they approved three years later.

Thanks for the info everyone!
So far so good as the alignment is at factory specs so we'll see if it holds.
Now I am messing with the air pressure for the 40x14.5x24 SSm16's, trying to find the best medium for wear and driveability, gonna try the chalk test next.

Have you measured your total height to top of cab with your set up? If so, could you share it? If not, you know what to do!

Well, that doesn't help my cause! That'll still fit in my garage! I was somewhat hoping you'd say it was over 8', thereby negating my ability to do a similar setup.

Man my wife is gonna be pissed*,,,,, when I do this.

*more than usual.
