ABS, Trac, and 4Hi dash lights on after lifting

Hey guys. Just installed a set of KING coilovers and a uniball UCA. Within 20 miles of having the lift installed, I have a ABS light and Trac light on... and the 4hi light is flashing occasionally. The truck has not been aligned yet (waiting til Thursday when I get my new tires) and has not had the zero point calibration done. Doesn't it normally take more than 20 miles for this to register and start throwing lights?

Next question... which has been found to be a better method, having the dealer do the calibration or shimming the sensor?

Thanks!

I suppose it's possible? But the truck only has 1200 miles on it... no issues up until the coilover install which was just installed about 20 miles ago....

just because the abs was not bad before the lift does not mean the abs didn't get messed up in the process.

Would that also cause trac control and 4hi lights?

if you do a search on the forum the two main contributors to the problem you mentioned is 1) severed or damaged abs or 2) AIP failure

Ok. I'll do some forum trolling. Should I take it back to the shop that did the install (Sierra Expeditions) or over to the Dealership?

Also... if it's a severed ABS wire, shouldn't that have registered right away? I didn't have any issues until I was about to pull into my drive way... which is about 20 miles from the shop...

I didn't damage or severe any wires when I installed my level kit so I don't know, but it seems to be a very common thing. you should be able to inspect your abs wires your self to determine if they are damaged off you can't do it then a dealership works to

I've already pulled both front wheels off and visually inspected everything... nothing looks damaged at all, all in in tact and looks good from what the naked I can see.

However, I just went out to my truck and started it up... dash lights were still on... sat in the truck with it running for a few minutes and the lights went off. Drove it around the block... hit the brakes hard a few times ... no lights came back on.

We'll see what happens in the morning on my drive to the office.
